Founder

Elizabeth Kowalski is a “bold visionary” and a leader in entertainment and the arts for the last 20+ years. She has created and delivered high-impact events, concerts, festivals, and immersive shows - leading cross-functional teams (up to 200) and building partnerships across brands, venues, and cultural institutions. As founder of Charlotte New Music (platform for artists in Charlotte & beyond) and creator of Your Neighborhood Orchestra, Kowalski is known for pairing world-class artistry with solid execution and audience impact. Her productions have earned multiple honors (including Queen City Nerve’s “Best Local Show” in 2022) and consistent press attention (PBS, WSOC-TV, Charlotte Observer, Charlotte Magazine, & more), reflecting her ability to craft experiences that move audiences and deliver results. These  imaginative experiences and crafted spaces explore art, science, and connection.

Appointed by Mayor Vi Lyles to the Bechtler Museum of Modern Art Board of Directors (currently serving her 2nd term), she brings board-level vision, sponsor strategy, and operational precision. Elizabeth’s hallmark: award-winning curation & experiential design, flawless logistics, and leading cross-sector teams on a collaborative process that elevates everyone involved.
