About WaterWorks
WaterWorks:
Five piece rock band with sax, covers and originals. Standard night: three hours, two sets. Stage plot and tech rider PDFs are in this folder: WaterWorks Stage Plot.pdf and WaterWorks Tech Rider.pdf.
Hospitality Rider:
Water on stage for five players.
A $100 food and drink tab for the band, if the venue offers one.
Parking for band vehicles near the load-in door, and a safe spot for cases.
Ticketed shows: one guest per player.
Hospitality Rider:
House PA with a house engineer: the house runs front of house from the input list. Monitors are in-ears for all five players: five pre-fader aux sends, one per player, each on an XLR line at that player's position. The band brings its own personal in-ear amps (Behringer P1). No wedges needed.
House PA, no engineer: the band runs its own QSC TouchMix-16 for all inputs and in-ears, and sends a stereo L/R feed (2 XLR) to the house system.
No house PA: the band brings its full system: QSC TouchMix-16, QSC K12.2 and K8 mains, and in-ears.
Power at the stage: at least two outlets on separate circuits. With the band's own PA, one outlet within reach of the stage is enough with our extension cords.
The band brings its own amps, drum kit and cables. Our drummer is happy to play a house kit if the venue prefers.
Load-in one hour before the first set. Setup and line check about 45 minutes, then a short soundcheck. Break between sets about 20 minutes.

Band:
WaterWorks is a five piece rock and jam band from Charlotte, NC, with guitars, sax, bass and drums, playing originals and covers since 2017. The band started on Charlotte's west side in an old waterworks building, which is where the name comes from. The players span thirty years in age and pull from Jerry Garcia, Keith Richards, Branford Marsalis and David Byrne. Originals get stretched out, standards get reworked, and a night runs three hours across two sets. WaterWorks has played 29+ venues across the Carolinas, including the Taste of Charlotte main stage, the Coca-Cola 600 Speed Street Festival and SAUL Festival, and is tracking its first studio recordings in late 2026.
